The following is the contractual document that will govern the trading of products and services through the Website https://betterbyletter.co/ (hereinafter referred to as Better by Letter) owned by MARIA CARMEN SERRA GENOVÉS with Tax Id. Number (NIF) 33462027V, domiciled at calle Salvador Sastre, No. 10, pta 20, Postal Code 46007 (Valencia-SPAIN), e-mail: hola@betterbyletter.co and phone number +34 695 268 598, and is constituted by the Website associated with the domain.

The acceptance of this document implies that you have read, and that you understand and comprehend what is set out below, that you have sufficient capacity to contract and that you assume all the obligations contracted on your part.

Purpose of agreement

The purpose of this agreement is to regulate the sale/purchase, contractual relationship between us (you and Better by Letter) at the moment when you accept the corresponding box during the online ordering process. The sale/purchase, contractual relationship entails the delivery of our packs and delivery services in exchange for a price exposed at https://betterbyletter.co/.

Online Purchase

In order to be able to buy online the products and services offered by Better by Letter, you must click on It’s mine! and the product will be added to your cart. To finish the purchase, you should freely and voluntarily provide the personal data we require. In this process you accordingly accept our Privacy Policy on the processing of your data.

If you’re one of those who send lots of letters or postcards, or want to give original and beautiful presents to your friends, do not hesitate to create your own account for future visits! Just check the box showing the option “Create an account?” and add your password. Remember not to make this information available to third parties and to inform Better by Letter of any loss or theft of such information, or of any possible access by an unauthorised third party so that we can block your account immediately.

Your ordering process will be as follows:

  2. Check the products added to the cart and finish your purchase
  3. You can enter your customer data or a discount voucher
  4. Enter your personal data
  5. Billing data and shipping address
  6. Payment method selection
  7. Payment validation
  8. You will receive a confirmation e-mail for your purchase

Delivery times and Payment methods

The time to prepare your order is 2 to 4 working days. Once the order is ready, we’ll proceed to shipping and we’ll inform you about it. Yeah!

We deliver your orders to the delivery address provided during the purchase process described in the previous section. Better by Letter does not take responsibility in case of delivery failure due to an error in the data you provided, or when the delivery cannot be made due to reasons beyond the control of the shipping company assigned for this purpose, such as the absence of the recipient. Yes, it’s true… Life really is unfair. Although bear in mind that you can always count on us to try to solve any issue. But please, remember to notify us as soon as possible 😉

The payment methods offered on the website are:

Bank transfer payment

The payment of the product by bank transfer will be sent to the account number that will appear on the screen when choosing the option “Payment by Transfer” during the purchase process.

In the ‘Message to Beneficiary’ field please indicate the order number you’ll have received via e-mail. To speed up the process, the User can send the transfer receipt to hola@betterbyletter.co. The applicable manufacturing and/or delivery deadlines will begin after effectively confirming the bank transfer payment.

Stripe payment

Enter your credit/debit card details. It’s not necessary to be a Stripe user.

Bank card and Stripe payments are completely secure and confidential.

When you place your order, this will be redirected in an encrypted manner to the Stripe payment gateway. Within this gateway you can make the payment in a completely secure way. Better by Letter is a verified user of Stripe, guaranteeing therefore that we meet all the requirements of security and trust with our users.

Availability

All orders received by Better by Letter through the Website are subject to the availability of the products, and/or to no circumstances or reasons of force majeure affecting the supply of products and/or the provision of services. If there are any difficulties in supplying the products or if there are no products left in stock, we’ll contact you and refund any amount you may have paid for them.

Applicable guarantees and Procedures

All our products are in accordance with the criteria and conditions described in the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, which approved the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws.

Consumers also have a Satisfaction Guarantee of 14 working days from the date of purchase. Better by Letter shall be responsible for any lack of conformity that may occur in the following two years from the delivery of the product. However, you must inform Better by Letter about any issues with the product within a maximum period of two months from the date you receive it. This guarantee does not cover any damages caused by improper use or normal wear and tear of the products.

In this regard, it is understood that the products are in conformity with the agreement provided that: they conform to the description made by Better by Letter and have got the qualities presented in it; they are suitable for the uses products of the same type are normally intended to; and they present the quality and features normally expected from a product of the same type and those fundamentally expected from it. When this is not the case regarding the products you have received, please contact us so that we can solve your problem.

If a product is defective, Better by Letter will proceed, as applicable, to repair, replace, reduce the price or terminate the agreement without any additional cost.

Please remember that any damage caused by you and which is unrelated to the manufacture of the product is not covered by the warranty. Amongst these damages, the most common are: wear and tear due to normal use of the product, loss of colour due to friction from normal use, sun exposure, use of chemicals or cleaning products that are not suitable for the manufacturing material, improper storage of products, etc.

In other words, the warranty covers any manufacturing defect with the exception of issues caused by misuse or neglect. It makes sense, doesn’t it?

Procedure for claiming warranty coverage

In the event any product purchased through Better by Letter presents a problem, failure or issue covered by the warranty, please follow this warranty claim procedure:

1- Inform Better by Letter about the problem by phone +34 647 797 225 or via e-mail to the address hola@betterbyletter.co, mentioning in the subject: PROBLEM + Order number.
2- Send photographs and/or videos of the issue to the e-mail address hola@betterbyletter.co
3- Minimum period: 72 working hours upon receipt of the photographs and/or videos. Better by Letter will study your case and analyse the material provided.

Returns or exchanges

In the event that you wish to return products due to reasons not attributable to Better by Letter (mistake in the purchase, exchange of products, etc.), as long as within the time period and under the legal conditions established for such procedure, you will have to send the products to Better by Letter and pay the costs generated thereof. Better by Letter does not accept freight collect when shipping for exchanges or returns. The products will be sent under the same conditions as they were originally shipped. Upon arrival, Better by Letter will check whether the product is in perfect condition and has not been damaged by use or shipping.

If you want to cancel your order once the product has left the Better by Letter premises and is already en route or at the destination delivery platform, you’ll have to pay for return shipping.

Procedure for the exchange or return request

1- Inform Better by Letter about the exchange or return by phone +34 647 797 225 or via e-mail to the address hola@betterbyletter.co, mentioning in the subject: RETURN + Order number.

2- Indicate on the shipping label the reference provided by Better by Letter.

Upon receipt of the shipment at Better by Letter and inspection of its condition, we’ll proceed with your return.

Right of Withdrawal

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, do not worry. You have a maximum of 14 working days from the delivery date of your order.

To return the product, it must be in perfect condition and inside its original packaging. To carry out this withdrawal you must follow the same steps as those mentioned in the previous paragraph.

The period of time to refund the amount you paid for your product(s) will be maximum 30 days. You’ll have to pay the return costs as prescribed by law. We’ll refund the amount of purchase minus the shipping costs in case the product is found to be in perfect condition. The refund of the amount of your order will be made in the same way as the payment 🙂

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These general terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts located in the city of Valencia (Spain), thus renouncing any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them. In any case, our intention is always to resolve any conflict amicably—hopefully there won’t be any 🙂
